ABOUT US:

Kennedy

He’s a writer, triathlete, filmmaker, and thrill seeker. He can be seen life-coaching on movie sets and jumping off tall structures into water. His book KNOCKOUT: A Manual for Success is an easy read and a great gift as an audiobook, Kindle, or paper book from Amazon.

Whitney Mackman

Tell her of an adventure and she’ll get there by foot, kayak, bike, or skateboard.

Your N.O. Adventure can be as mellow as exploring a flood ravaged 9th Ward neighborhood on a photo safari… or as wild as rappelling into waterfalls on a treacherous canyon hike. There’s plenty of breathtaking adventures to be had. Allow me to enlighten you.

A few of the activities found in posts:

Kayaking Bayou St. John,Wildlife(GATORS!) spotting in Jean Lafite National Park(the only National Park in Louisiana and it’s FREE!), best dog parks in New Orleans, snorkeling Lake Pontchartrain, killer mountain biking in Baton Rouge(Hooper Road), rock climbing in Slidell, geocaching everywhere, tubing the summer away, exploring ancient cypress forests, scaling bluffs and experiencing beautiful waterfalls(only about 2 hours from NOLA), bonafide Louisiana surfing.

  1. i love this!
    thank you.

  2. Man! This is a great blog! I AM SO HOMESICK FOR NEW ORLEANS! Where are those rocks that you are jumping from?

I left NOLA just when I got old enough to go find the cool stuff….

Oh, and the Fall Out Shelter spelunk? Out-fricking-standing!

  3. Those rocks I’m backflipping off are in Mexico. I wish they were close to New Orleans.

  4. Just found your blog…i’m gonna check it out a lot. I could prolly help you out with it…if’n you’re still looking for help. Been in the NOLA area for 10 years off and on…and i got many adventures to tell. Found you through the parkour waiting list on meetup.com. I’m moving back to NOLA end of august, and going to start jamming around the city. Hit me up…i’ve put a forum together for PK in NOLA and the surrounding area…http://www.chimeraredline.com for jam planning…since i couldn’t find one elsewhere.

I’m interested in learning about the subterranean of the city as well…we should get together when i get back.

  5. awesome blog. Never been to New Orleans but I’m stoked on the concept. I’m like you and need to get out and do stuff. Keep it up.

  6. I would love to obtain some of your adhesive signs (stickers) for my cars and to hand out at my business.

    Thanks

  7. Love this blog! Great job!

  8. world Naked Bike Ride, June 12, 2010. Washington Square, Noon. Will ride through quarter and back to square. 300 people last year. Really only almost naked for vast majority of riders.

  9. Just found your blog and I’m definitely adding it to my list of reads.

  10. Sadly, I am moving at the end of the month and have not had the chance to experience even 20% of the things on this website, but know that every time I come home I will try to do one thing from your site.
    Thanks for this!

  11. All your past except its beauty is gone, and nothing is left but a blessing.

  12. I TOOK A PICTURE OF THE GIGANTIC TREE OF WHICH JEFFERSON DAVIS USED TO SIT UNDER TO READ OR REST. DID THIS TREE MAKE IT THROUGH THE HISTORICAL HURRICANE KATRINA? I WAS TOLD IT HAD BEEN DAMAGED. I STILL HAVE THE PICTURE AND WANT TO ADD IT TO MY FACEBOOK. I WANT TO BE ACCURATE IF THE TREE IS STILL STANDING.

  14. Moved to NOLA a few months ago. This is what I was looking for to escape, to satisfy my need of nature and adventure! Please keep posting! 😀

  15. Is this place still open for business? I have been calling the contact number listed on the website for the past 3 days and have received a call back.

  16. I am inquiring about a post made a few years ago about the tunnels that run under Beauregard town in baton rouge and throughout the area…..the article on this site gave a location but I was wondering if you knew of a more exact location or address and if there is more than one entrance. A few friends of mine were curious to walk through and take some cool photos…..thank you for any info you can give.

    Chad

  17. Sorry, Chad. I wish I had more info to tell you. Maybe someone else from this comment thread can chime in.

  18. Will be going to Gulfport Mississippi middle of September and read on the internet that you have snorkeling tours off of ship Island. How do I get more information about that?

  19. Sorry, I don’t do snorkeling tours. If you take the ferry to Ship Island, I suggest snorkeling by the docks on the north side of the island.

Also, keep in mind that this is not comparable to Caribbean snorkeling. It’s just a few fish and crabs scurrying around the rocks. Enjoyable enough for me.

  20. I am coming from OH to New Orleans to visit my daughter, I have done a polar plunge for the past 15 yrs. I would like to do one in NO. Are there any taking place on the 1st of Jan in the area?

  21. Hit me up via email.

  22. Steve from Ohio, we ARE having a Polar Bear plunge this year tomorrow. Please hit me up via email – esyndicate AT gmail DOT com
